Dr. Jody Serra gained valuble sports injury experience playing Rugby at West Virginia University and Palmer College. His team at Palmer went undefeated and won the National Collegiate Championship in 1979. He is still a competitive endurance athlete. Over the years he has won numerous bicycle and multisport races and had dozens of top ten finishes. He presently competes in adventure racing.

Dr. Serra focuses a great deal of his considerable energy on community endeavors. You can find him donating his time to such organizations as Big Brothers and Sisters of Hunterdon County (Board of Trustees), Clinton Township Foundation for Educational Excellence (Board of Trustees), Clinton United Methodist Church (Adminisrtative Board), North Hunterdon Little League (Coach), Hunterdon Huskies Football (Commissioner), North Hunterdon Junior Lions Football (Coach).

Dr. Serra and the staff at the Center for Natural Health have annually volunteered for many local and national charity events including the YMCA Run For Health and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
